The Maryland men’s and women’s basketball programs unveiled new identical uniforms on Thursday, including home white, road red and black and gold alternate designs.

All four uniforms incorporate a large arched wordmark across the chest, bringing to mind what the Terrapins wore during their runs to the 2021 Men’s Final Four and the 2002 national championship, as well as matching “Terrafont” numbers.

The white home and red road uniforms feature classic red (or white), black and gold stripes around the collar, arm holes and waistband, as well as a contrasting stripe that carries the pattern to the bottom of the shorts, which also feature Maryland’s primary logo on the left leg.

The black and gold alternate uniforms, meanwhile, have a solid red collar and arm holes but add some flair to the bottom of the shorts with the state flag detailing. There’s also an oversized primary logo on the right side of the shorts.

The new home uniforms will presumably make their on-court debut when the women’s program opens the season against Harvard on Nov. 6, while men’s team hosts Mount St. Mary’s the following night.
