The Chicago Bears will wear their orange alternate helmets for the second time this season during Thursday night’s matchup with the Carolina Panthers, which kicks off at 8:15 p.m. ET on Amazon Prime.
Introduced last season after the NFL relaxed its one-helmet rule, the helmets are paired with the Bears’ orange alternate jerseys, white pants and orange socks with stripes that match the sleeves.
Chicago is 0-3 in this combination, including a 12-7 home loss to the Washington Commanders and a 49-29 loss at the Dallas Cowboys in 2022, as well as a 27-17 loss at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers earlier this year.

The Panthers, meanwhile, will counter with their standard silver helmets, white jerseys and either black or white pants. They have not won a game this season in white jerseys, going 0-4 in such contests.
