The Cincinnati Bengals will wear their white alternate helmets with their road uniforms for the second time this season when they travel to Jacksonville to take on the Jaguars on Monday Night Football (8:15 p.m. ET on ESPN).

The Bengals introduced the white helmets last season, though NFL rules forced them to pair the alternate lids with their all-white Color Rush set in a 27-15 win over the Miami Dolphins and a 37-30 win at the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Color Rush uniforms matched Cincinnati’s previous design, though, so the team petitioned the league to wear its standard road uniforms – which feature a simplified striping pattern on the shoulders – with the white helmets this season.

The combination made its debut in a 19-16 win over the Los Angeles Rams on Monday Night Football on Sept. 25, improving the Bengals’ record in their white helmets to 3-0. They also painted the logo and end zones at Paycor Stadium to match the uniforms.

Meanwhile, the Jaguars will counter the all-white look by wearing their all-black uniforms on Monday evening. They are 1-0 in that combination this season, including a 23-7 win over the Atlanta Falcons at Wembley Stadium in London on Oct. 1.
