The Pittsburgh Steelers announced they will wear their all-black Color Rush uniforms during Thursday night’s game against the New England Patriots, which kicks off at 8:15 p.m. ET on Amazon Prime.

The Steelers are 7-2 in their Color Rush uniforms, which were introduced during the 2016 season and have been worn at least once every year since, including a 17-10 win over the Patriots in 2018.

They feature Pittsburgh’s standard black helmet, black jerseys with gold block numbers and gold stripes on the sleeves, black pants with a single gold stripe down the sides and black socks.

The Steelers have also painted the field at Acrisure Stadium with a retro-inspired design, including gold end zones with “Pittsburgh” and “Steelers” wordmarks between AFC and NFL logos.

A similar design was used during last year’s 13-10 win over the Las Vegas Raiders, though it included a vintage AFC logo as the team celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Immaculate Reception.

The Steelers kept the gold end zones for the season-ending 28-14 win over the Cleveland Browns, as well, but updated the AFC logo to the current mark, which will also appear in Thursday’s game.
