The 2024 Panini Rising Stars Tournament uniforms were recently added to NBA LockerVision, giving us our first glimpse at what the next generation of stars will wear during All-Star Weekend.
The colors used in each uniform are supposedly a nod to different eras of Indiana Pacers basketball, while the asymmetrical stripes celebrate the state’s American Basketball Association history.
Specifically, the red and gold connects to the Hickory High School-inspired alternate uniforms the Pacers wore from 2015-18, while the white set is more reminiscent of their modern designs.
The red and blue uniforms, meanwhile, offer contrast while being loosely based on those color schemes. Each is affixed with the Pacers’ current number font and a wordmark inspired by their 1974-76 design.
The Rising Stars Tournament features 21 NBA players – 11 rookies and 10 sophomores – who are drafted onto three teams, as well as seven NBA G League players who will make up the fourth team.
The tournament will take place on Feb. 16, with tipoff of the first of three games at 9 p.m. ET on TNT. It will be played on the same court as the All-Star Game, which is set for Feb. 18 at 8 p.m. ET on TNT.
