Nashville SC, ATL UTD, Quakes Round Out MLS Kit Unveilings on Saturday

The kit train kept on rolling for Major League Soccer on Saturday, with the final three clubs unveiling their new looks for the 2024 season.

Nashville SC was first out of the gates on Saturday, putting a new twist on their usual yellow primary kits. The new version, dubbed the “615 Kit,” adds a broad navy “Acoustic Blue” stripe across the chest, which contains the club crest and a yellow Adidas logos. Other accents — like the collar, sleeve cuffs, side panels, Adidas shoulder stripes and side/hem taping — are also navy blue, along with the sponsor logos and back names and numbers.

Nashville SC also announced they’d wear navy blue shorts with their primary kits for the majority of their matches at GEODIS Park this season. They also introduced 35 patches representing 35 Nashville neighborhoods and MIddle Tennessee communities that fans can purchase to customize their kits. The patches were designed by local artist Cymone Wilder.

Meanwhile, Atlanta United confirmed the “leak” of their new secondary kit from earlier this month when Atlanta Hawks players were photographed wearing the kit when arriving at the arena for an NBA game.

A tonal graphic of a phoenix dominates the front of the light blue shirt, emulating the phoenix found on the Atlanta city flag, which features a gold phoenix seal in the middle of a blue field. Trim on the royal blue collar and sleeve cuffs is yellow, further cementing to the ties to the city flag.

The side panels are royal blue, and the club crest on the left chest is monochromatic royal blue. The side/hem taping is yellow.

On the west coast, after hinting that fans would get their first look at their new secondary kits at an event on Sunday, the San Jose Earthquakes surprised everyone by unveiling the kits on social media on Saturday.

With their white base and red trim, the new kits harken back to what the Quakes wore when they first entered the North American Soccer League in 1974. Their crest from 1976 appears on the left chest, while a monochrome red version of their current crest sits on the back collar. The only accents that aren’t red are the side panels and the taping across the back hem.
