The Missouri football program unveiled two new helmet designs ahead of its annual Black and Gold spring game, which took place at Faurot Field at Memorial Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The black helmets, which were paired with either black or gold jerseys and black pants as the roster was split equally among the two teams, featured a gold script “Missouri” on both sides and the Tigers’ traditional striping pattern down the center.
The white helmets, meanwhile, were worn by the quarterbacks with white jerseys and black plants. They included a black script “Missouri” on the sides with black and white stripes that are usually applied to the Tigers’ gold helmets down the middle.
Missouri debuted similar script “Tigers” helmets during the 2022 season, wearing black, gold and white versions, but this marks just the second time the school name has appeared on the helmets, joining a 100th anniversary logo in 1990.
