Although it won’t officially be revealed until Thursday morning, the Standard Edition cover for EA Sports’ College Football 25 video game was leaked on social media on Wednesday morning.
Just like the Deluxe version that leaked last week, Colorado wide receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter, Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers and Michigan running back Donovan Edwards are all featured on the standard cover.
This time, however, the three athletes are facing the camera and are not flanked by star players from other powerhouse programs. They’re also in a different order, as Edwards is in the center on the Deluxe Edition cover.
EA Sports has not announced when the game will be available for purchase, though it’s expected to have a mid-July release date. There will reportedly be Standard, Deluxe and Homecoming versions, ranging from $69.99 to $149.99.
If the trend continues, it’s likely Ewers will be the focal point of Homecoming Edition cover. In that case, expect Cotton Bowl Stadium to once again be in the background, just as it is on the Standard and Deluxe versions.
The covers are set to be revealed at 11 a.m. ET on Thursday. Perhaps EA Sports will also share screenshots or a trailer of the highly anticipated game, which is returning PlayStation and Xbox systems after an 11-year hiatus.
