The Baylor football program unveiled new uniforms on Tuesday morning, marking the first overhaul to the Bears’ look since the 2019 season.

The uniforms, which are on Nike’s Vapor F.U.S.E. template, maintain some details from the last set, including the custom number font and the secondary logo at the base of the collar.

However, the uniforms scrap the claw marks on the shoulders and contrasting cuffs in favor of a Green Bay Packers-esque striping pattern on the sleeves and down the sides of the green, gold and white pants.

Baylor also changed the color of the numbers on its green home jerseys from gold to white and oddly kept the contrasting collar on the white road and gold alternate jerseys but not the green jerseys.

The uniforms are complete with the Bears’ standard green, gold and white helmets, which all feature the familiar interlocking “BU” on the sides and include a new gold facemask option.

Additionally, Baylor teased the release of a fourth uniform on Tuesday, which sources have indicated will be an all-black option. The Bears previously wore black alternate uniforms from 2012-18.

The new green home or gold alternate jerseys will make their on-field debut when Baylor hosts Tarleton State on Aug. 31, while the white road jerseys will be worn the following weekend at Utah.
