Baltimore Orioles Add Blue T. Rowe Price Patch to Jerseys

The Baltimore Orioles have announced a new partnership with T. Rowe Price, a global investment management firm headquartered in Baltimore. The partnership will include adding their corporate logo to the sleeves of the Orioles jerseys. This patch made its debut last night during their game against the Atlanta Braves at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.

This is the first time the Orioles have featured a sponsored logo on their jerseys.

“We are ecstatic to enter into this partnership with T. Rowe Price and welcome them as the first organization to associate their name and brand on our uniforms,” said T.J. Brightman, Orioles Senior Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer. “This partnership acknowledges the strong Baltimore Orioles brand, and we are elated to bring together two Baltimore institutions to positively impact our Birdland community.”

The patch features the T. Rowe Price bighorn sheep logo in the very un-Orioles colour scheme of navy blue and light blue and will be worn on the sleeve of all Orioles jerseys for regular season and postseason games.

“T. Rowe Price has called Baltimore home since our founding. We are deeply committed to the City — as is the Orioles organization,” said Rob Sharps, Chief Executive Officer and President of T. Rowe Price. “We are very excited to invest in our hometown team and our community, and we believe this partnership will help us attract more clients in the years to come.”

The Orioles are one of many MLB teams to add an advertisement to their jerseys since the league first permitted clubs to do so beginning with the 2023 season. Other clubs that have added ads to their jerseys include the Atlanta Braves, Milwaukee Brewers, and New York Yankees.

“The future of the Baltimore Orioles and the City of Baltimore is bright,” said Orioles owner David M. Rubenstein. “We are delighted to welcome T. Rowe Price to Birdland at such an eventful time on and off the field. Our organizations share a dedication to hard work, innovation, professionalism, and integrity, and we have committed our long-term futures to this city. We look forward to a long, successful partnership as we work to bring the World Series trophy back to Baltimore.”

So, there you go.
