The Ottawa Senators are the latest to announce an advertisement will be added to their jerseys, with the logo of Calian going on their road white sweaters in 2024-25.
Calian Group, Ltd. is an Ottawa-based corporate consulting firm that has already been working with the Senators for several years.
“We are very excited to partner with Calian, a locally grown Canadian company who knows what it takes to compete on the global stage,” said Senators president Cyril Leeder in the press release. “Through this landmark agreement Calian is taking our business relationship to a new level and demonstrating their commitment to our team and continued commitment to our community. Over the next three years we will elevate each other on and off the ice and continue to support each other’s ambition of growth, excellence and success on the national and international stage. We are stronger together.”
Ottawa’s new road jersey patch shows the CALIAN wordmark in black lettering with a bright blue stripe over the top, a colour never used in any Ottawa Senators uniform.
This deal applies only to the road white uniforms; Ottawa will continue to wear a CIBC logo on their home black jerseys this season.
