With less than two weeks to go before the puck drops on the inaugural 4 Nations Face-Off, the National Hockey League and NHL Players’ Association today revealed the jerseys that Canada, Finland, Sweden, and the United States will wear during the tournament. The 4 Nations Face-Off tournament will be held this season instead of the NHL All-Star Game.

Here’s a closer look at what each team will wear during the tournament…
CANADA
Canada will take the ice in a red jersey with white maple-inspired accents. The front crest features a 13-point maple leaf, a nod to the first representation of what would later become Canada’s national flag. An arched Canada wordmark, inspired by the 1920 Winnipeg Falcons—Canada’s first Olympic gold medal-winning team, is placed inside the leaf, while the sleeves include debossed maple leaf vines, “weaving communities coast to coast to coast.”
FINLAND
Finland’s jersey is predominantly white, representing the country’s snowy landscapes and deep connection to the outdoors. The front crest showcases “Suomi” (Finland in Finnish) in a split-colour wordmark and a modern take on the crowned lion from Finland’s national coat of arms. The sleeve detailing continues the theme, with subtle Convallaria Majalis (Lily of the Valley), Finland’s national flower, embossed onto the fabric.
SWEDEN
Sweden’s design is no surprise, staying true to its traditional yellow and blue colour scheme, featuring a refreshed version of the iconic Tre Kronor (Three Crowns) crest in blue. The crowns are given a textured finish inspired by Swedish crown and armour craftsmanship. A Swedish-flag-inspired stripe runs along the sleeves.
UNITED STATES
The United States will wear a navy blue jersey featuring red and white striping across the sleeves and lower hem. The crest is a modern “USA” block wordmark with silver chisel detailing, flanked by a single white star patch on each shoulder, a nod to the 1980 “Miracle on Ice” sweater design. A closer look at the jersey reveals 13 tonal sublimated stripes on the chest and back, each representing one of the original 13 colonies. The phrase “E Pluribus Unum” is debossed into the sleeves, tying in the national motto of the United States.
Each jersey will feature a sponsor patch on the shoulders: Canada will wear a Rogers logo, the USA will wear Discover, and an SAP logo will be worn by both Finland and Sweden. Also, instead of the NHL shield, each country will wear the 4 Nations Face-Off puck icon at the collar.
The 4 Nations Face-Off takes place from February 12-20, 2025, with four games played at Bell Centre in Montreal and three, including the championship game, at TD Garden in Boston.
