The countdown to this summer’s Women’s Euro 2025 is officially underway after Adidas launched new away kits for the six teams it outfits that will compete in the tournament, along with two other women’s national teams.
The German sportswear giant rolled out the new kits en masse on Monday, February 17. Each is inspired by “the the prominent artistic styles that give each nation their own unique cultural identities — from the realism and expressionism of Renaissance Italy to the graffiti street art that adorns modern German cities — to create contemporary fashion-forward aesthetics that bridge the gap between the past and the present.”
“The importance of the jersey cannot be understated — in both football and culture — it represents hope, passion, and a collective sense of unity that connects a nation ahead of a major tournament. For UEFA Women’s EURO 2025TM, we focused our efforts on delivering performance-first kits, with contemporary designs that connect players and fans to the core visual DNA of each nation. We can’t wait to see these designs stand out on pitch and in the stands in Switzerland, this summer.”

Here’s a look at the kits for the six Adidas national teams competing in Euro 2025, along with what Adidas had to say about each kit:
🇧🇪 BELGIUM 🇧🇪
Inspired by the abstract geometric patterns that emerged in Belgian art from the 1920s onwards, the design sees a striking yellow, red and orange modern interpretation of the traditional RBFA red flame — a symbol synonymous with this great nation. The look is completed with a ‘Belgium’ sign-off on the neck incorporating a matching flame graphic.

🇩🇪 GERMANY 🇩🇪
Germany’s away kit celebrates the rich street art scene found across the country. Striking lines in varying shades of red and pink are applied in a modern graffiti style, embodying the vibrant murals found across the heart of these cosmopolitan cities. A yellow ‘Deutschland’ neck sign-off — in a spray paint style — adds to the design.

🇮🇹 ITALY 🇮🇹
Italy’s jersey takes design inspiration from the Realism and Naturalism movements associated with the Renaissance period, as artists became increasingly interested in the realistic depiction of natural objects. In this case, differing shades of mint green reveal life-like vine branches, that run across the front and back of the shirt — completed by an ‘Italia’ neck sign-off.

🇪🇸 SPAIN 🇪🇸
Spain’s design is rooted in the Cubism movement of the 20th century — famous for creating abstract visuals by breaking up the component parts of a subject and reassembling them in an abstract form. Pink and grey geometric shapes punctuate an off-white base, to represent a bold new era for Spain Women’s national team.

🇸🇪 SWEDEN 🇸🇪
This eye-catching design champions pioneering artists whose groundbreaking work pushed boundaries and challenged traditional narratives. Incorporating an abstract blue graphic fading out from dark to light, the visual is a homage to some of the earliest known forms of Swedish Abstract Expressionism.

WALES
Influenced by the appearance of the traditional Welsh Love Spoon — an ancient symbol of loyalty and togetherness — the Welsh away kit features intersecting wavy lines which mimic the shape of the spoon’s structure, created using lighter and darker hues of mist green. While in contrast, a red “Gorau Chwarae Cyd Chwarae” motif sign-off, stands out on the neck.

Meanwhile, Adidas also released new away kits for the Scotland and Northern Ireland women’s national teams. Neither squad qualified for Euro 2025, but they will wear the new kit designs throughout the 2025 international season:
NORTHERN IRELAND
Northern Ireland’s new away kit pays tribute to The Dark Hedges in County Antrim, “a stunning avenue of beach trees intertwined, creating a dramatic tunnel-like effect.”

SCOTLAND
The colour inspiration for Scotland’s new primrose yellow and pink away kit “is cultivated from the Scottish footballing history of the late nineteenth and early twentieth century, with Adidas reviving the vibrancy as part of an artistic and modern design,” according to the Scottish FA.

The Women’s Euro 2025 tournament will be played from July 2 to 27 across eight host cities in Switzerland.
