CanPL’s Forge FC Capture Spirit of Hamilton in 2025 Primary, Alternate Kits

Hamilton, Ontario-based Canadian Premier League side Forge FC is aiming to capture the bold, hard-working spirit of their home city with their new primary and alternate kits for 2025.

The club unveiled the kits, made by Macron, at a special event on Wednesday, March 19.

The primary kit is “a bold expression of the club’s identity and unwavering spirit,” according to Forge FC’s announcement. The shirt is solid orange, with an embossed pattern of asymmetric stripes woven into the fabric. Inside those stripes are the phrases “Together We Aspire,” “Together We Achieve” and “Together We Forge.” The first two phrases are derived from the City of Hamilton’s coat of arms.

The sleeve cuffs and polo collar are white, and a white “HAMILTON” wordmark sits below the number on the back of the jersey.

The alternate kit, meanwhile, has a pattern of light grey hammers — a nod to the city’s nickname of “The Hammer” — covering the white base that “embraces the strength, beauty, and spirit of Hamilton.” The back half of the V-neck collar is orange, while the front half is white with two dark grey stripes. Those dark grey stripes are also found on the sleeve cuffs. An orange “HAMILTON” wordmark adorns the back.

Both kits feature a new front-of-shirt sponsor in WeatherTech Canada, a manufacturer of floor mats and other automobile accessories. WeatherTech replaces Tim Hortons, which had been the club’s sponsor since the CanPL’s inaugural season in 2019. Tim Hortons has also given up the naming rights to the stadium in Hamilton where Forge FC and the CFL’s Hamilton Tiger-Cats play.

Both kits also feature a gold Legacy Patch on the back collar with the number 4 inside, denoting Forge FC’s quarter of CanPL championships (2019, 2020, 2022, 2023), as well as Canadian flags on the left sleeves.
