Columbus Crew fans got a sneak peek at the club’s new third kit last week when it appeared on stage at a concert.
“Stick Season” singer Noah Kahan took the stage at a benefit concert in Columbus, Ohio, on Thursday, May 29, wearing a previously unseen Crew third kit, a retro design that’s likely part of the 2025 edition of Major League Soccer’s Archive Collection. Photos of Kahan wearing the kit surfaced on the internet soon after, and the Crew seemingly confirmed the kit by posting photos of the concert to their official social media accounts on Friday, May 30.
The kit Kahan is wearing in the photos in mostly white, with a curved black stripe across the chest and a yellow panel above that. The black raglan sleeves have white Adidas shoulder stripes and a yellow pinstripe through the center of the sleeve cuffs.

The Crew’s original crest from 1996 — a shield featuring three men in hard hats — appears on the right chest, inside the black stripe, while a version of the team’s original wordmark sits below the black stripe.

Overall, the design of the jersey appears to be a modern take on the Crew’s road jersey from the inaugural season of MLS in 1996.

No photos showing the back of the jersey were posted.
Kahan was performing at the IGS Energy Benefit Concert at Kemba Live!, a concert venue in Columbus. The concert raised funds for programs that support children’s mental health and align with the missions of the Kids Mental Health Foundation, the Nationwide Children’s Hospital, the Eat. Learn. Play. Foundation and Kahan’s own charity, The Busyhead Project.
The white third kit nicely compliments the Crew’s other kits for the 2025 MLS season, including their yellow primary kit and their Goosebumps-inspired black secondary kit with a yellow slime pattern on the front and sleeves that is activated under ultraviolet light.

The MLS x Adidas Archive Collection debuted in 2024 with third kits for five teams: LA Galaxy, Sporting Kansas City, Portland Timbers, Los Angeles Football Club and Inter Miami. Other 2025 Archive Collection jerseys have yet to be unveiled, but leaked images circulating have shown a San Jose Clash throwback jersey for the San Jose Earthquakes. There are also rumours going around that every MLS team will get a third kit at some point in the 2025 season.
