With Independence Day less than a month away, Major League Baseball and New Era have once again teamed up to release caps featuring the Stars and Stripes.
The latest version of the patriotic caps went on sale earlier today (June 9, 2025) for all 30 MLB teams. They all feature a light blue crown and a white rope with flecks between the brim and the crown. Team logos on the front of the caps have a royal blue outline and are filled with the stars and stripes of the American flag, similar to last year’s version.

Some teams have royal blue brims, while others have red brims; which team has which seems kind of arbitrary, but may be based on which is closer to their usual colours. The squatchee on top and the New Era logo on the left side match the colour of the brim, while the flecks in the rope around the front contrast (blue flecks on red brims and vice versa).

Caps for U.S. teams have the MLB logo on the back with a royal blue batter, ball and outline. The field to the left of the batter is white, while the field to his right is red. Each cap also has a grey underbrim.

For the league’s only Canadian team, the Toronto Blue Jays, the cap logo is rendered in red and white, with no outline or flag showing through. The squatchee, New Era logo and brim are all red, as are the flecks in the rope. The MLB logo on the back is rendered only in red and white.

Players, managers and coaches will wear the caps on and around Independence Day (and Canada Day, in the Blue Jays’ case). Here’s a look at the caps for all 30 MLB teams:
