If another leak from a familiar source is any indication, the Philadelphia 76ers will wear Allen Iverson-era Hardwood Classic uniforms during the upcoming season.
A pair of black shorts featuring the 76ers’ 1997-2008 alternate logo were posted to Instagram by user @__2hands_shop__, who previously leaked the 76ers’ and Golden State Warriors’ 2025-26 City Edition shorts.

As is the case with Hardwood Classic uniforms, the overall design will be accurate to what Philadelphia wore on the road from 1997-2008, with the iconic “Sixers” shooting star-style wordmark across the chest.
It’s unclear if it will feature the red-outlined wordmark worn from 1997-2000 or the simplified version worn from 2000-07, but it will almost certainly not include the wider “cutoff” shoulders from the latter era due to Nike’s uniform template.

Additionally, the shorts appear to be a matte fabric, which is notable considering the 76ers were one of a handful of teams that wore a dazzle-like fabric in the early 2000s, joining the likes of the Denver Nuggets, Miami Heat and Memphis Grizzlies.
The decision to wear Iverson-era throwbacks next season is likely the result of it being the 25th anniversary of Philadelphia’s last NBA Finals appearance, where they fell to the Los Angeles Lakers in five games.
