Minnesota Twins Add Securian Financial Ad Patch to Jersey Sleeves

The Minnesota Twins had a slightly different look when they returned to the field follow Major League Baseball’s All-Star break.

On Thursday, July 17, the Twins introduced Securian Financial as their new sleeve ad patch partners on their social media platforms, and they debuted the new patches when they visited the Colorado Rockies the next night in the first game of the second half of their 2025 regular season.

The Securian Financial patch will appear on all three Twins uniforms. The patch on the white home jersey has a white background, while the patch on both the gray road and cream alternate jerseys will have a navy blue background.

Based on video highlights from Friday’s game, it appears the ad patch was placed on different arms for different players, depending on where they would get the most exposure. The other sleeve still had the Minnesota state outline patch that was introduced as part of a larger rebranding in November 2022.

Securian Financial is a life insurance company based in St. Paul, Minnesota, that has been a sponsor of the Twins since 2017.

“At Securian Financial, we’re proud of our Minnesota roots and even prouder to grow with a brand as respected and beloved as the Twins,” Securian chairman, president and CEO Chris Hilger said in a statement Thursday that was quoted in Twin Cities Business Magazine. “This partnership is more than a logo – it’s a symbol of shared values, bold ambition and the belief that what we build together can resonate well beyond the field. We’re honored to be part of this historic moment.”

The Twins were only one of three teams without a jersey ad sponsor prior to this deal being announced. The lone holdouts now are the Chicago White Sox and the Tampa Bay Rays. The Rockies themselves only added York Space Systems as a jersey advertiser at the beginning of July 2025.
