The Las Vegas Aviators, Triple-A affiliate of the someday-to-be Las Vegas Athletics, play in a city that is constantly growing and changing. To that end, the Aviators will play one game this season as the Cone Jesters, a tribute to the perpetual construction in the city, and what the team considers Nevada’s unofficial state flower—the traffic cone.

“Blooming year-round on highways, streets, and construction sites, only in Vegas can you find yourself navigating a detour that has its own detour,” the team said in a statement. “Just when you think you’ve cracked the code of the city’s ever-shifting roads, a new set of cones appears, sending you on a perplexing adventure.”

The alternate brand is centered around an anthropomorphic traffic cone wearing a court jester’s hat, set against neon yellow and orange that evokes a construction site.
The Cone Jesters will take the field for one game August 15.
