Italian Clubs Dominate Latest Wave of Soccer Kit Unveilings Across Europe

The latest wave of kit unveilings across Europe’s top-flight domestic soccer leagues has a distinctly Italian flavour, with nine clubs competing in Serie A launching new home, away or third jerseys.

Add to that six new kits from Spain, five more from England, three from Germany and one from France, and you’ve got quite the smorgasbord of new looks from the past week or so. Here’s a closer look at all the new shirts:

ARSENAL FC – Away

Perennial English Premier League contenders Arsenal unveiled their 2025-26 away kit, made by adidas, on Monday, July 21, and debuted them on the pitch two days later against Italian side AC Milan in Singapore. Inspired by away kits with lightning bolts from the club’s past, the Gunners’ new kits feature a pattern of bolts in different shades of blue all over the navy blue base, along with red shoulder stripes and a metallic silver cannon and sponsor logos.

🇮🇹 AC MILAN – Away

Italian Serie A giants AC Milan aim to “capture the spirit of Milan’s global reputation for fashion, design and elegance” in their 2025-26 third kit, made by PUMA. The “sunny yellow” shirt has deep green accents on the collar and sleeve cuffs to “effortlessly [blend] football heritage with fashion-forward thinking the way only AC Milan can.” The body of the shirt also has a barely visible tonal pattern that’s a reworking of the “iconic” ACM monogram, a tribute to the club’s title-winning season in 1995-96.

CRYSTAL PALACE – Away

As defending FA Cup champions, Premier League side Crystal Palace has declared that “gold is for winners” in launching their new away kit for 2025-26, made by Macron. The gold base of the kit has a pattern of embossed triangles forming a houndstooth pattern on the front and sleeves. Black piping runs down the shoulders of the shirt, and the sleeve cuffs and back half of the button-up collar are black with gold pinstriping. The eagle and ball from Crystal Palace’s crest are isolated and rendered on the chest in gold and black.

SUNDERLAND AFC – Home

Sunderland AFC mark their return to the Premier League with their 2025-26 home kit, made by Hummel, which celebrates their history and the connection between their city and their stadium. Sunderland’s traditional red and white vertical stripes are punctuated by a light grey pattern representing Keel Crossing, a new pedestrian bridge over the River Wear near the Stadium of Light. The striping inside the V-neck and the sleeve cuffs harken back to designs worn in the 1980s, and the club crest is positioned in the centre of the chest for the first time from the 1990s.

BRENTFORD FC – Away

Premier League side Brentford FC are getting back to nature with their 2025-26 away kit, made by Joma. The predominantly brown shirt celebrates the club’s connection to bees, which goes back to the early 1900s, with a tonal bee-wing pattern all over. Gold details include sponsor logos and trim on the sleeve cuffs and polo collar. For the first time, the bee from Brentford’s crest is isolated on the chest and rendered in gold.

WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS – Away

English side Wolverhampton Wanderers dare opponents to step into the den with their 2025-26 away kit, made by SUDU. The front of the turquoise kit features a jacquard wolf’s head print that is “inspired by the geometric lines of Molineux – a detail which brings a piece of home to away grounds.” Both the V-neck collar and sleeve cuffs are black with two turquoise pinstripes through the middle.

🇮🇹 AS ROMA – Third

Serie A heavyweights AS Roma celebrate the green spaces and parks in the Italian capital with their 2025-26 third kit, made by Adidas. The green polo collar, sleeve cuffs and shoulder stripes “the colours and atmosphere of these areas, delivering a fresh and distinctive look for the new season,” while the white base features an embossed pattern “inspired by the geometry of classic Italian gardens.” The club’s “ASR” monogram appears in yellow on the chest.

🇮🇹 ATALANTA BC – Away

Serie A side Atalanta BC “fuses historical inspiration with contemporary style” with their 2025-26 away kit, made by New Balance. The predominantly white shirt has black and blue stripes at the top that fade out as they reach the chest, and each stripe has a pattern of ovals inside. The crest is a gold silhouette of the Greek heroine Atalanta running, which is taken directly from a club crest introduced in 1963. “This detail serves as a powerful symbol of the club’s enduring legacy.”

🇮🇹 ACF FIORENTINA – Third

ACF Fiorentina pays tribute to the Arno River and the Ponte Vecchio in their home city with their Serie A third kit for 2025-26, made by Kappa. The blue base features a pattern of tonal horizontal stripes as a “nod to the reflections of the river” while the silver on the collar, sleeve cuffs and logos “evokes the dreaminess and poetry of Florence.”

🇮🇹 TORINO FC – Home

Italian side Torino FC blends tradition, innovation and passion with its 2025-26 home kit, made by Joma. The kit is Torino’s traditional shade of maroon, with an abstract pattern woven into the fabric. The V-neck polo collar and broad sleeve cuffs have a single black pinstripe near the edges, while sponsor and manufacturer logos are white.

🇮🇹 CAGLIARI CALCIO – Home

Serie A side Cagliari Calcio honour the wind and the salt that come off the Mediterranean Sea with their 2025-26 home kit, made by Eye Sports. The club’s traditional half-red, half-blue design is accentuated by a sublimated pattern in the blue area, “inspired by the iridescent reflections of the Sardinian sea.” Meanwhile, the graphics in the sleeve cuffs are “inspired by the Mistral, the wind that has always shaped the life and landscapes of the island.” The motto “OVUNQUE TU SARAI” (“Wherever you will be”) is printed in white on the back collar.

🇮🇹 COMO 1907 – Home

Serie A’s Como 1907 are going with the flow with their 2025-26 home kit, made by adidas. The royal blue jersey features an abstract print on the front and lower back inspired by Lake Como. The raglan sleeves and side panels are solid blue, as is the panel on the back for names and numbers, while the crew neck collar and shoulder stripes are white.

🇮🇹 US CREMONESE – Home

US Cremonese hope to make beautiful music in their 2025-26 home kit, made by Acerbis, when they make their return to Serie A. The club’s traditional grey and red vertical stripes are accentuated by a swirling tonal pattern of musical notes and staffs inside the red stripes. The centre grey stripe is flanked by two narrower, slightly darker grey stripes; this darker shade of grey is also found on the collar, sleeve cuffs and shoulders. The club crest sits in the centre of the chest, between the manufacturer’s logo and the front-of-shirt sponsor.

🇮🇹 BOLOGNA FC – Away

Serie A side and defending Coppa Italia champions Bologna FC are blending “tradition and innovation, Italian design and Bolognese identity” with their 2025-26 away kit, made by Macron. The predominantly white kit features spread-out pinstripes that cycle between red, blue and platinum, a motif that matches up nicely with the pinstripes on their 2025-26 home kit. The collar and sleeve cuffs are navy blue with red pinstripes through the middle.

🇪🇸 SEVILLA FC – Third

Over in Spain, La Liga side Sevilla FC complete their 2025-26 kit trilogy — their first since reuniting with supplier adidas — with their new third kit. The jersey is predominantly black with embossed pinstripes down the front and red accents including the collar, shoulder stripes and piping down the sides. The club crest is also rendered in one-color red on the black background.

🇪🇸 REAL BETIS – Third

La Liga side Real Betis tap into their animal instincts with their 2025-26 third kit, made by Hummel. The kit is mostly black, but has a mint green animal print on the upper half of the chest. “Inspired by feline fur, the design features a striped texture in the aforementioned shades of green that gradually fades into black, creating a dynamic visual effect that reinforces the garment’s competitive nature.” Other mint green accents include trim on the collar and sleeve cuffs, along with piping along the front of the shoulders.

🇪🇸 CA OSASUNA – Away and Third

La Liga side CA Osasuna complete their wardrobe for 2025-26 with the release of their away and third kits, made by Macron. The base of the away kit is green and has an embossed pattern of diagonal sides along with red hoops on the sleeves and a red polo collar. The third kit, meanwhile, is mostly white, with red stripes running across the collarbones and under the arms. The club crest sits in the middle of the chest, inside a shield with red and navy blue outlines.

🇪🇸 LEVANTE UD – Away and Third

Levante UD, who return to La Liga in 2025-26, also give us a double whammy of kit launches with their away and third kits made by Macron. The away kit features blue and white vertical stripes, with a tonal design over top that “evokes the movement of waves” and the deep connection the club has to the sea. The light green third kit, meanwhile, pays tribute to the Valencian farmland that once surrounded their current stadium. It “symbolises the resilience and loyalty of fans who once crossed dirt tracks and farmland to reach the stadium,” the club says.

🇩🇪 HAMBURGER SV – Third

After unveiling bold home and away kit designs for their return to the German Bundesliga in 2025-26, Hamburger SV keep the intensity up with their third kit, made by adidas. The black base of the kit is punctuated by neon pink shoulder stripes, side panels and collar trim, while neon yellow piping runs down the sides and around the sleeve cuffs.

🇩🇪 FC ST. PAULI – Third

Bundesliga side FC St. Pauli are going bare bones with their 2025-26 third kit, made by PUMA. The shirt is mostly black, with a monochrome white club crest in the middle of the chest, above the manufacturer’s logo, and white accents on the collar and sleeve cuffs. The main design element, though, is the tonal pattern of skulls covering the shirt. The skull and crossbones is a prominent symbol for St. Pauli and its supporters, representing their anti-establishment, anti-fascist and anti-racist values.

🇩🇪 1. FSV MAINZ 05 – Away

Bundesliga side 1. FSV Mainz 05 take a trip down memory lane with their 2025-26 away kit, made by Jako. The predominantly “spectrum blue” kit has neon pink accents, including a distorted checkerboard pattern on the left shoulder, with the colour scheme evoking the club’s away kit design from the 1991-92 season. Pink also appears on the collar and sleeve cuffs.

🇫🇷 FC LORIENT – Home

Our only unveiling from France’s Ligue 1 this time around, FC Lorient revives a traditional look for their 2025-26 home kit, made by Joma. The kit features a slightly slanted black-and-orange checkboard pattern, which is a look Lorient first wore in the 1920s when they were an amateur club made up of fishmongers and fishermen. They wore this pattern regularly until the 1970s, and have resurrected it for a season or two a few times in the decades since. The kit also features a throwback crest, with a gurnard inside a diamond, surrounding by the initials “FCL.” The back is solid orange, while the sleeves are solid black.
