As the start of the 2025-26 edges closer and closer for top-flight domestic soccer leagues across Europe, clubs are getting ready by releasing new kits on a regular basis.
With the majority of clubs having already launched their home looks earlier this summer, many are now getting their away and third designs out into the marketplace. This includes high-profile clubs like defending German Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich and 2024-25 UEFA Champions League semifinalists Arsenal FC from England’s Premier League.
Here’s a look at the kits that have been released in recent days:
🇩🇪 BAYERN MUNICH – Third
Bayern Munich pay homage to the Marienplatz — the central square of Munich that often hosts the club’s trophy celebrations — with their 2025-26 Champions League kit, made by adidas. The black kit features a tonal checkerboard pattern all over, while the V-neck collar and sleeve cuffs have a red checker pattern and a green stripe. The shoulder stripes and logos on the front — including a retro adidas trefoil logo and a retro Bayern crest from the 1920s — are off-white. A tag sewn into the inside of the hem includes a depiction of the New Town Hall and the inscription “Grüße vom Rathausbalkon!” (“Greetings from the town hall balcony!”

ARSENAL FC – Third
Twenty years after moving out of their previous stadium, Highbury, to the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal FC looks to capture the spirit of their old home with their 2025-26 third kit, made by adidas. The off-white base of the kit features an art deco-inspired pattern woven into the fabric and is accented by dark red and gold trim on the polo collar and sleeve cuffs. The shoulder stripes, retro adidas logo and cannon on the chest are all dark red. An art deco-style crest from the 1930s — which stood over the main entrance at Highbury — sits on the back collar and also features in the woven-in pattern.

BURNLEY FC – Away
Burnley FC look to bring the noise to their 2025-26 Premier League season with their new away kit, made by Castore. The light blue shirt features a pattern on the front and raglan sleeves that was “created using soundwaves of chants and singing recorded in our home sections,” according to the club. The V-neck collar and sleeve cuffs are claret with a white stripe through the middle.

FULHAM FC – Away
Premier League side Fulham FC are turning back the clock with their 2025-26 away kit, made by adidas. The neon green kit is inspired by the club’s “cult favourite” away kit from the 1999-2000 season, and includes a retro crest first used in 1995 embroidered on the left chest. White piping runs down the sides and around the sleeve cuffs, while the polo collar, shoulder stripes and underarm panels are navy blue.

🇩🇪 BORUSSIA DORTMUND – Home
Back in the Bundesliga, Borussia Dortmund have given their supporters a look at their 2025-26 home kit, made by PUMA, through a social media video, even though it won’t go on sale until Friday, August 8. The kit maintains BVB’s traditional black and yellow colour scheme, but this uses it in the form of an abstract pattern of diagonal lines and halftone dots on the shoulders and upper chest. A darker version of the pattern appears on the sleeves. The V-neck collar and sleeve cuffs are solid black, and the back is solid yellow.

🇩🇪 BAYER LEVERKUSEN – Third
Bayer Leverkusen is aiming for “an expression of our identity in an inspirational city of colour” with their 2025-26 third kit, made by New Balance. The blue base of the kit is covered in a tonal pattern of overlapping crosses, “an abstract interpretation of the iconic Bayer Cross [that] convey[s] the long history of the club and city with a modern look.” The club crest is rendered in cyan, and the sleeve cuffs are trimmed in cyan and white.

🇩🇪 RB LEIPZIG – Third
Fellow German side RB Leipzig draws inspiration from their home city’s modern architecture for their 2025-26 third kit, made by PUMA. The shirt is predominantly red, with tonal and black vertical lines and geometric patterns that reflect Leipzig’s “technological innovation and urban creativity” while also symbolizing “progress, energy and our clear forward-thinking vision.” The crew neck collar and side panels are solid black, as is the panel on the back for names and numbers.

🇩🇪 1. FC UNION BERLIN – Home
Bundesliga side Union Berlin blends tradition with modernity with their home kit for 2025-26, made by adidas. The red and white hoops on the front of the shirt are a motif that has appeared on Union Berlin’s home kits several times in the club’s history. The raglan sleeves are solid red, with red piping down the front and along the sleeve cuffs. The back is solid red for name and number legibility.

🇩🇪 FC AUGSBURG – Third
After the success of their “Roman” third kit in 2024-25, Bundesliga side FC Augsburg keeps the theme going with their new third kit for 2025-26, made by Mizuno. The black kit features a pattern all over “inspired by artefacts from Roman antiquity, some of which can still be seen in Augsburg, together with elements of the club’s logo.” The club crest and sponsor logos are rendered in gold, as well as a pattern on the sleeve cuffs and collar.

🇩🇪 WERDER BREMEN – Away
German side Werder Bremen hope opponents will be blinded by the neon lights in their 2025-26 away kits, made by Hummel. The body of the kit is white with pinstripes woven into the fabric, while the collar and sleeves are beige. But the focal points are the neon green highlights in the club crest, sponsor logos and side panel chevrons. The kits are “inspired by the neon lights of Bremen’s nightlife and the lights that guide the team and their fans on their away trips – on the road or under the floodlights,” the club says.

🇫🇷 LILLE OSC – Third
French Ligue 1 side Lille OSC takes the colour of one of the clubs that merged to form the club as it stands today and brings it to the forefront with their 2025-26 third kit, made by New Balance. The predominant blue colour of the kit is a nod to Sporting Club Fivois, which merged with Olympique Lillois in 1944 to form Lille OSC. Blue interplays with black in a distorted repeating pattern across the front and sleeves of the shirt, and is accented by gold logos and side panels. The back includes a solid black panel for names and numbers.

🇫🇷 RC LENS – Third
French Ligue 1 side RC Lens presents a work of art with its third kit for 2025-26, made by PUMA. The kit features a cream-colored base with gold accents, including the polo collar, side panels, sleeve cuffs and shoulder panels. Sponsor logos are black, except for the PUMA logo on the chest, which is gold with a black outline. A special black-and-gold Lens crest sits on the left chest, celebrating the club’s 120th anniversary.

🇪🇸 REAL OVIEDO – Away and Third
As they celebrate their 100th anniversary, Spanish La Liga side Real Oviedo pays tribute to the two clubs that merged to form the club as we know it today with their away and third kits for 2025-26, made by adidas. The yellow-and-blue striped away kit is inspired by Real Stadium Club Ovetense from 1914 to 1926, and includes black accents like shoulder stripes, piping and stripe outlines. Meanwhile, the third kit features light blue and white vertical stripes with gold accents and mirrors kits worn by Real Club Deportivo Oviedo from 1919 to 1926.

🇮🇹 CAGLIARI CALCIO – Away
Italian Serie A side Cagliari Calcio tips its cap to its supporters with its 2025-26 away kit, made by Eye Sports. The white kit features a pattern that fades in on the bottom half of the front and is inspired by the lithograph “Ai Sardi…” (“To the Sardinians”) by artist Constantino Nivola (1911-1988). This version depicts Cagliari supporters in the stands of their stadium, “recalling the special bond between the whole of Sardinia and Cagliari,” according to the club. Woven into the blue sleeve cuffs are red pictograms inspired by Nivola’s modernist sculptures.
