It’s hard to believe the 2025-26 college football season is already upon us, as Iowa State and Kansas State meet this afternoon in the Aer Lingus College Football Classic in Dublin, Ireland (12 p.m. ET on ESPN).
With that, we’ve compiled a comprehensive list of every uniform, logo and field change that has taken place across the country this offseason, which we’ve broken down by conference and will share daily over the next week.
But before we get started with the Atlantic Coast Conference and college football’s Independent programs, we must note a few changes to this year’s bowl lineup, which features one new/returning title sponsor and five games currently without a sponsor.
That includes Sheraton returning as the title sponsor of the Hawai’i Bowl after previously headlining the event from 2003-13 and the Birmingham Bowl, Boca Raton Bowl, Myrtle Beach Bowl, Music City Bowl and the New Orleans Bowl currently being sponsor-less.
Now, let’s take a look at the team-by-team changes across the ACC, as well as a couple of Independent programs like Notre Dame, which has had a scheduling arrangement with the conference to play at least five games against ACC opponents each season since 2014.
ACC
Boston College
The Eagles unveiled new home and road uniforms this summer after they switched from adidas to New Balance, which hasn’t outfitted a Football Bowl Subdivision program since Central Michigan in 2008.
The uniforms continue to feature a vintage “BC” at the base of the collar but add Doug Flutie-era stripes to the sleeves. They’ll also seemingly only wear gold pants after having white and maroon options in the past.

Additionally, Boston College’s new “Red Bandana” alternate uniforms – which honor former lacrosse player and Sept. 11 hero Welles Crowther – feature a bandana pattern on the sleeve caps and side panels of their matching red pants.
Georgia Tech
The Yellow Jackets unveiled new home gold, white road and dark gray alternate uniforms last month that prominently feature a metallic gold material in the numbers and stripes but minimize navy blue in the design.
In fact, navy blue only exists in the stroke around the numbers on the gold home and white road jerseys, the ACC patch and adidas logo on the shoulders and Georgia Tech’s logo on the hip of the pants.
Louisville

The Cardinals pulled inspiration from head coach Jeff Brohm’s time at quarterback when they unveiled new red home and white road uniforms this offseason that include a striping pattern similar to the modified sleeves he wore in the early 1990s.
The stripes include a sublimated fleur-de-lis pattern as a nod to the city’s French origins and history. Louisville also revealed a new black alternate jersey, which features a block font and more traditional stripes instead of the program’s custom typography.
Miami (Fla.)
While the Hurricanes slightly changed the shade of orange used in the digital application of their logo this offseason, it does not appear to have an impact on their uniforms.
What has changed, however, is Miami’s black alternate uniforms, which – according to a retail leak – will fall in line with the design of their home orange, white road and green alternate jerseys and replace last year’s design with perforated orange numbers with silver outlines.

Additionally, if an eBay leak is accurate, Miami will celebrate its 100th anniversary by wearing 1945 throwback uniforms this season. The orange jersey includes green block numbers, white Northwestern stripes and would presumably be paired with plain white helmets and orange pants, matching what the Hurricanes wore that season, when they went 9-1-1 and won their first bowl game.
North Carolina
New Tar Heels head coach Bill Belichick has reportedly ordered throwback uniforms from the 1980 season, when the program tied a program record with 11 wins and captured the ACC title.
While the report stated that North Carolina “hopes” to debut the design this fall, it’s unlikely that they’ll be worn before the 2026 season due to typical manufacture restraints, which include the production of the uniforms and corresponding retail merchandise.
N.C. State
The Wolfpack will pay tribute to Raleigh – the “City of Oaks” – with uniforms that feature a sublimated acorn pattern across the chest and a script “N.C. State” wordmark on the red jerseys and white helmets inspired by a neon sign found downtown.
There’s also an acorn at the end of the script and a script “City of Oaks” wordmark on the back helmet bumper. The uniform, which is complete with Northwestern stripes on the helmet, shoulders and matching red pants, will be worn against ECU on Aug. 28.
Pitt
The Panthers have updated to Nike’s Vapor F.U.S.E. template but made no other changes to the uniform design they unveiled in 2019.
Independent
Notre Dame
The Fighting Irish announced they’ll wear their standard gold helmets with their Kelly green alternate jerseys and pants against Boise State on Oct. 4. They’re 0-1 in this combination, falling to Ohio State on a last-second touchdown in 2023.
Notre Dame also recently unveiled a football-specific version of its leprechaun logo, which features the mascot running with a football. It won’t replace the logo with a fighting stance, which has been in use since 1964, but is a secondary option.
UConn
The Huskies have updated to Nike’s Vapor F.U.S.E. template and have shifted their TV numbers from the shoulders to the sleeves, which no longer feature a contrasting stripe above the contrasting cuffs. They’ve also changed the Swoosh on their white road jerseys from navy blue to red.
Meanwhile, Army – the lone remaining Independent program – has not announced any changes to its look but will undoubtedly unveil a new alternate uniform ahead of the 126th Army-Navy Game, which takes place at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore in December.
