Harlem Globetrotters Unveil 100th Anniversary Logos, Uniforms Ahead of 2026 World Tour

The Harlem Globetrotters have unveiled a three-uniform set for their upcoming 100th anniversary tour in 2026 – a red, white, and blue series created with designer Jeff Hamilton. The set will debut at Madison Square Garden on Sunday, December 14, before rotating throughout the Globetrotters’ 2026 Global Tour.

All three uniforms feature the familiar HARLEM wordmark arched across the front with the player number centred below and “GLOBETROTTERS” underneath. Each also includes a swooping red/white/blue stripe that goes up from the left hip to the right armpit. A series of stars and pinstripes make up the base of each uniform.

Five stars down each side of all three jerseys pays tribute to the original five Globetrotters: Walter “Toots” Wright, Byron “Fat” Long, Willis “Kid” Oliver, Andy Washington, and Al “Runt” Pullins. Each design, thankfully, also stays within the club’s core palette of red, white, and blue, with gold trim. On the back of each jersey, the player’s name is arched below their number.

The shorts all feature the same elements as well, just recoloured. The “HARLEM GLOBETROTTERS” wordmark is placed right on the front of the shorts, centred across the groin, I guess. The back of the shorts places the player’s number on the left butt cheek with the player’s name arched below.

The three jerseys have their own names: we’ve got the “World Famous Edition” jersey in white, the “Tour Edition” uniform in red, and “The Ambassador Edition” in blue. Essentially, the base colour is the only real change between the three, along with the trim colour of the white wordmarks and numbers.

The Harlem Globetrotters frame themselves as originators of using sport for goodwill, showmanship, and athleticism. Founded in 1926, they’ve featured elite men’s and women’s talent from HBCUs to NCAA Divisions I through III, NAIA, the NBA, and WNBA. They were the first team to be inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, having performed in over 120 countries across six continents, and currently hold over 60 Guinness World Records.

“The Globetrotters challenged us to come up with a look that could not just embody their history, but would tell a vibrant and literally colourful story of their present and their future for fans around the world,” uniform designer Jeff Hamilton said in the press release. “We think these three uniforms, the first of several fashion collaborations we will be working on for the Centennial, help achieve those goals, and will be part of the must have of any basketball fan of any age in 2026 and beyond.”

Hamilton is a Los Angeles-based designer known for his 1990s leather jackets worn by Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James and a long list of hip-hop and other entertainment figures. Hamilton’s work has also appeared in championship celebrations and major pop-culture moments, and his company maintains licensed partnerships with the NBA and NFL, recently adding FIFA in time for the upcoming Men’s World Cup in 2026.

“From the Chicago streets to arenas in over 125+ countries, the Harlem Globetrotters have been donning the Red, White & Blue for 100 straight years, turning every jersey into a badge of swagger, showmanship, and history,” added Keith Dawkins, President, Harlem Globetrotters & Herschend Entertainment Studios. “Jeff Hamilton has taken all aspects of that legacy and developed a series of three unique looks that each tell their own piece of our history.”

The North American leg opens Sunday, December 14, at Madison Square Garden and continues through spring 2026. International dates later in 2026 include France, the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Mexico, and markets across Asia. The uniforms will alternate game-to-game during the tour as the Globetrotters face the Washington Generals.
