The Blainville-Boisbriand Armada of the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League are marking their 15th anniversary in their home city in the with a special logo and jerseys.
The Armada — who topped the Canadian Hockey League’s preseason Top 10 rankings released this week — unveiled the logo and jerseys on their social media channels on Wednesday, September 17. The sweaters were labelled “15th anniversary jerseys,” so it’s unclear how often they’ll be worn over the course of the 2025-26 QMJHL season.
Both jerseys maintain the Armada’s stark black-and-white colour scheme and both have five stripes around the waist and sleeves — one broad stripe flanked by two narrower stripes on either side. Both also have black collars with white trim and what appear to be grey inserts at the front with the Under Armour logo. The UA logo also appears on a white panel on the back collar that contrasts with body of the black jersey and the black squared-off shoulder of the white jersey.

The Armada’s 15th anniversary logo appears on both shoulders of the jerseys. An italicized, beveled block “15” sits behind a grey banner with the years 2011 and 2025 in white and the Armada’s primary logo in the middle.

The Armada started life in Newfoundland as the St. John’s Fog Devils, who played in the QMJHL from 2005 to 2008. They then relocated and became the Montreal Junior from 2008 to 2011 before finally making the move to Boisbriand. Since then, they’ve worn the same jerseys, with single broad stripes around the chest and sleeves.

In November 2024, though, the Armada introduced a third jersey that included blue accents. And, in the 2025-26 preseason, they wore jerseys honouring the Alouettes de Saint-Jérôme, one of the QMJHL’s original franchises, for three games they played at the Aréna Rivière-du-Nord in Saint-Jérôme, an hour northwest of Boisbriand.

The Armada begin their 2025-26 QMJHL regular season with two games on the road September 19 and 20 against the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies and the Val-d’Or Foreurs respectively. Their home opener at the Centre d’Excellence Sports Rousseau takes place on Friday, September 26, when they host the Shawinigan Cataractes.
