The Boston College Eagles are spreading their wings with new home and away uniforms for the 2025-26 Hockey East season.
The Eagles unveiled the new sweaters made by New Balance last week, and they’ll be worn by both the women’s and men’s teams in the upcoming season.
The biggest change is on the cardinal road uniforms, where a Boston College wordmark replaces “EAGLES” running diagonally down the front of the jersey. The Vegas gold wordmark has white outlines, and “BOSTON” is vertically arched over “COLLEGE,” with both words set in a sans serif block font. Boston College has gone back and forth between the two treatments on the front of their jerseys over the years, but this is where they’ve landed this time around.

The collar of the cardinal jersey is gold, with two gold lines on the cardinal insert at the front and the New Balance logo below. A gold panel at the waist has two cardinal stripes running through it. None of the photos or videos of this jersey released so far show the sleeves, but it’s likely the sleeve striping will match what’s on the waist.
As for the white jerseys, we got a much better look at them through the women’s team’s media day photos and their preseason game against Stonehill College on Saturday, September 20. The cardinal diagonal “EAGLES” script remains on the front of the white jersey, but the typeface has been switched from a serif block font to a sans serif block font with a gold drop shadow.

The waist and stripes both have two gold stripes on a white background before cardinal panels take over the rest of the way down. The collar is cardinal, with two cardinal lines at the front. The numbers on the back and sleeves are cardinal with gold drop shadows, matching the script on the front, while the names on the back are cardinal with a gold outline.
Both jerseys have the Hockey East logo on the upper right chest and the motto “FOR BOSTON” printed inside the collar. Both also eliminate the BC logos that previously sat on the upper left chest.

Boston College also wore gold alternates last season, which were first introduced in January 2024 for the Battle of Comm Ave against Boston University. Last week’s announcement didn’t include any information on if or when those alternates would be worn again this season.

The Eagles women open their 2025-26 regular season on Thursday, September 25, with two games on the road against the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers. Their home opener isn’t until Friday, October 10, when they host Holy Cross. The men, meanwhile, start their season at home against Quinnipiac University on Friday, October 3.
