The Minnesota Wild are rolling back to year 1 for year 25.
The Wild will wear a special 25th anniversary throwback jersey this season, a near duplicate of the white home sweater the club wore during its inaugural season in 2000-01. The green sleeves, original Wild scripted number font, along with the classic “Wild head” crest and calligraphic shoulder patch, are, of course, present, but now accentuated with metallic gold accents in honour of the milestone season. One shoulder patch has been replaced with a 25th anniversary logo.
Minnesota’s anniversary season jersey will be worn four times during the rapidly approaching 2025-26 regular season, all at home, with each game set up as a “white out” night at Saint Paul’s Grand Casino Arena (the former Xcel Energy Center).
Minnesota Wild 2000-01 Throwback Uniform Schedule
- October 28, 2025 vs. Winnipeg Jets
- November 4, 2025 vs. Nashville Predators
- December 21, 2025 vs. Colorado Avalanche
- January 24, 2026 vs. Florida Panthers

The Wild joined the National Hockey League as an expansion team along with the Columbus Blue Jackets for the 2000-2001 season. Their first uniform set featured a green jersey for road games and white for home, before the NHL swapped the designations around league-wide in 2003-04. While the Wild dropped the green sweater after the 2007 season, the white version lasted for another six years, with only a change to the shoulder patch over that time, before it was finally replaced at the end of the 2012-13 season.
