Major League Volleyball’s new expansion team in North Texas is ready to feel the beat.
The team officially unveiled their name — Dallas Pulse — and logo on Thursday, October 16, roughly three months ahead of their MLV debut in January 2026. At the same time, the team confirmed they would play their home games at the Comerica Center in Frisco, Texas.
The team’s logo uses a colour palette of navy blue, light blue, purple, black and chrome. It features the word “PULSE” in shiny, beveled chrome letters above a light blue electrocardiogram readout with a purple shadow. Above that is “DALLAS” in white and a light blue star, and all of that sits on a blue circle with a beveled chrome edge. The top two-thirds of the circle features black halftone dots, while the bottom third is a blue volleyball with black lines.

“North Texas is one of the most passionate and competitive volleyball markets in the country. Our name represents the heart of the city and the tempo of the game. We are bringing world-class volleyball to Dallas-Fort Worth – not only for the dedicated fans who already love the sport, but also for those who are about to experience just how thrilling and dynamic professional volleyball can be.”
— Grady Raskin, President and CEO, Dallas Pulse
Major League Volleyball was created in August 2024 when the Pro Volleyball Federation — which began play in January 2024 — merged with a new upstart league that had yet to play a game and kept the latter’s name. MLV will open its new season in January 2026 with eight teams, including the Pulse and seven others that ported over from the PVF:
- Atlanta Vibe
- Columbus Fury
- Grand Rapids Rise
- Indy Ignite
- Omaha Supernovas
- Orlando Valkyries
- San Diego Mojo

The only PVF team that didn’t make the jump to MLV is the Vegas Thrill.
A date for MLV’s next collegiate draft has not yet been announced, nor has a schedule for the 2026 season.
MLV plans to add two more expansion teams in 2027, in Washington, D.C., and in Northern California, presumably Sacramento.
