With back-to-back Walter Cup championships under their belts, the Minnesota Frost are celebrating with a new commemorative jersey.
The Professional Women’s Hockey League team launched the jerseys on their website and social media channels on Thursday, October 30. They’ll wear them on the ice for the first time when they open their 2025-26 PWHL regular season at home against the Toronto Scepters on Friday, November 21.
The commemorative jerseys add silver accents to the Frost’s usual purple home jerseys, including outlines around the names and numbers on the back and sleeves. It also includes a champions patch on the chest with the Walter Cup trophy and two stars, one for each of their titles.

“It has been an incredible run in Minnesota for our team, and we’re excited to recognize the success of the previous seasons. Our fans have embraced the Frost colors and branding over the last season, and this is a cool opportunity for them to join the players in a unique tribute to our championship seasons.”
— Melissa Caruso, general manager, Minnesota Frost
The Frost will wear the commemorative jerseys “into January.” There was no indication in Thursday’s announcement if their white road jerseys would also feature the silver accents.
The Frost also announced on Thursday that they would wear purple pants, gloves and helmets starting this season — a switch from the black accessories they had worn since 2024.

Replica versions of the commemorative jerseys are available for fans to purchase through the PWHL’s American online shop.
Puck drop for the Frost’s regular season opener on November 21 at Grand Casino Arena is at 6 p.m. CT.
