Utah Jazz Unveil Mountain-Inspired City Edition Uniforms For 2025-26 Season

The Utah Jazz officially unveiled their new City Edition uniforms on Thursday morning that recolor their 2017-20 and 2020-22 designs and are inspired by the state’s rugged and snowy mountain terrain.

The uniforms feature a midnight black to gray gradient pattern that follows the same template as the aforementioned designs, which were initially inspired by the red rock landscapes of Southern Utah and later featured a “Dark Mode” version.

There’s a white “Utah” wordmark across the chest and a state outline with basketball seams on the waistband of the shorts, as well as jagged light blue piping down the sides that draw the paths from Salt Lake City to St. George and Salt Lake City to Moab.

The uniforms will be worn five times this season, including against the Indiana Pacers on Nov. 11, Oklahoma City Thunder on Dec. 7, Dallas Mavericks on Jan. 8, Portland Trail Blazers on Feb. 12 and Toronto Raptors on March 23. They will remain in the rotation for next season, as well.

“Over the next two seasons, we’re bringing back a fan-favorite design with a fresh, modern twist,” president of revenue and commercial strategy Chris Barney said. “This City Edition jersey celebrates Utah’s signature mountain landscapes and the spirit of Mountain Basketball, blending the team’s history with a bold new look. It’s a unique way for fans to show their pride and connect with the team and our state.”

It’s unclear at this time if the Jazz will have a matching court design or if they’ll pair the uniforms with their standard hardwood, which is predominately purple but features light blue accents after the franchise underwent a full-on redesign this offseason.
