The Sudbury Wolves were ready to go ’til they couldn’t go no more in special themed jerseys over the weekend.
The Ontario Hockey League team hosted their fourth Shoresy Night on Friday, November 7, against the Barrie Colts, celebrating the successful Crave streaming show that’s also set in Sudbury.
The jerseys they wore for the occasion were mainly royal blue, with light blue stripes around each sleeve and light blue and brown stripes around the waist. The logo of the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs from the show appeared on the front.
The shoulders were light blue and featured a tonal repeating blueberry pattern. The collar was brown with “SUDVEGAS” in light blue on the back — a nod to the nickname “Shoresy” characters gave to their city in the show’s fourth season.

Numbers on the sleeves and back were one-colour light blue, while names were royal blue on a contrasting white nameplate. The Wolves’ primary logo sat on the right shoulder, while the left shoulder featured the logo of Play It Forward, a charity that helps underprivileged kids grow and develop through sports. Proceeds from the auction of game-worn and game-issued jerseys will benefit the charity.

The jerseys were designed in-house by Maddie Archer and Samantha Blender with Sudbury Wolves Sports and Entertainment. Archer has a great Instagram post detailing the process (that unforunately can’t be embedded here).
“Shoresy” follows the ups and downs of the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs, a senior triple-A men’s hockey in the Northern Ontario Senior Hockey Organization (or NOSHO, for short), and in particular of their titular captain. All four seasons of “Shoresy” were filmed in Sudbury and are available to stream on Crave in Canada and on Hulu in the United States.
The jersey auction is being conducted through DASH, with bids closing at 2 p.m. ET on Thursday, November 13.
