The New England Patriots will wear their new Nike “Rivalries” uniforms for the first time when they host the New York Jets on Thursday Night Football, which kicks off at 8:15 p.m. ET on Amazon Prime.
The first “Storm Blue” jerseys in franchise history are almost completely devoid of red and feature white numbers with navy blue drop shadows and sublimated vertical striping that is reminiscent of the Drew Bledsoe-era design the Patriots wore from from 1995-99.
There’s a stacked “NE” logo on the sleeves that is inspired by nautical lettering and compass points, as well as six red stars around the collar that represent the six states that comprise the New England region and complement the red Nike swoosh.

The “Nor’easter” uniforms maintain the Patriots’ familiar UCLA stripes on the shoulders, though they – and the stripes down the sides of the white pants – are truncated and have a subtle fishing net pattern as a nod to the harbors along the coast.
The look is complete with a matte white helmet, which is reflective of the region’s powerful and unpredictable winter weather, with a “Storm Blue” and silver version of the Patriots’ “Flying Elvis” logo on the sides and a silver facemask, further tying in the fishing nets.

The “Rivalries” uniforms – which bring to mind MLB’s City Connect and the NBA’s City Edition programs – will be worn just once this season by members of the AFC East and NFC West but will remain in the team’s rotation for three seasons, allowing them to be worn in a home game against a different divisional opponent each year.
The series will then expand to the AFC South and NFC North in 2026, the AFC West and NFC East in 2027 and the AFC North and NFC South in 2028, marking the first league-wide uniform promotion since the Color Rush program debuted in 2015 and ran through the 2017 season.
New England will become the fourth team to debut its “Rivalries” uniforms this season, joining the Arizona Cardinals, Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins, while the Los Angeles Rams (Nov. 16), Jets (Dec. 7), Seahawks (Dec. 18) and San Francisco 49ers (Week 18) will wear theirs at a later date.
In addition to the uniforms, the Patriots have painted the turf at Gillette Stadium with a matching field design, including their helmet logo at the 50-yard line and “Storm Blue” end zones with their wordmark. Aside from their Super Bowl appearances or international games, it’s the first time since 1990 that they’ll have fully painted end zones.
