New York Jets To Debut New Nike “Rivalries” Uniforms On Sunday

The New York Jets will debut their new Nike “Rivalries” uniforms during Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins, which kicks off at 1 p.m. ET on CBS.

The swamp green “Gotham City Football” uniforms, which were unveiled in August, revive the UCLA stripes the Jets wore from 1998-2018 but include black sleeve caps with a sublimated design inspired by the manhole covers on the streets of New York City.

The uniforms feature Gothic-style numbers and will be paired with New York’s black alternate helmets, though the franchise has swapped the decals for an iron ore “Jets” wordmark. There’s also a stripe down the center with the subtle manhole cover pattern.

The look is complete with New York’s secondary logo, which was introduced as part of a full uniform redesign in 2024, on the front helmet bumper and left chest of the jersey, while a gothic-style “Gotham City Football” wordmark appears on the back bumper.

The “Rivalries” uniforms – which bring to mind MLB’s City Connect and the NBA’s City Edition programs – will be worn just once this season by will remain in the rotation for three seasons, allowing them to be worn in a home game against a different divisional opponent each year.

The series kicked off with the AFC East and NFC West and will expand to the AFC South and NFC North in 2026, AFC West and NFC East in 2027, and AFC North and NFC South in 2028, marking the first league-wide uniform promotion since the Color Rush program debuted in 2015.

The Jets will become the sixth team to wear their “Rivalries” uniforms this season, joining the Arizona Cardinals, Buffalo Bills, Los Angeles Rams, Miami Dolphins and New England Patriots, while the Seattle Seahawks (Dec. 18) and San Francisco 49ers (Week 18) will wear theirs at a later date.

In addition to the uniforms, the Jets have painted an impressive design on the turf surface at MetLife Stadium, with their secondary logo at midfield and swamp green end zones with a “Jets” wordmark and the silhouettes of the Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge and several prominent buildings along the New York skyline at the forefront.
