Season ticket holders for the Canadian Premier League’s Forge FC will get an added perk this season in the form of an exclusive kit celebrating their city’s soccer history.
The club — based in Hamilton, Ontario — unveiled the Members’ Kit on their website and social media channels last week. They’re based on the kits worn by the Hamilton Steelers, a team that played in the Canadian Soccer League, among other leagues, between 1981 and 1992.

The kit has a black base with an orange band outlined in white across the chest. This style mimics the kits the Steelers wore in the 1980s and 1990s. The bands also appear on the sleeves, and the polo collar is white with orange and black trim. The Hummel logo on the chest and chevrons on the shoulders are orange.

The Members’ Kit also marks the first appearance of a new brand mark for Forge FC. Appearing on the left chest, the mark puts the Forge’s primary logo inside a roundel with orange outlines. “HAMILTON” is written out in white in the bottom portion of the roundel, while white chains — lifted from the city’s flag, where they represent unity and industry — stretch around the top. A special Forge FC member logo also appears on the back collar.

The Members’ Kits will only be distributed to season seat holders and will not be available for others to purchase through the club. It’s not clear from Forge’s announcement if players will wear them in a game during the 2026 season.
A few season ticket holders got a sneak peek at the kits during a focus group late last year. Some of their comments are included in a teaser video released on January 2.
The Canadian Premier League has not yet announced the schedule for its 2026 season, but it typically gets rolling in early April. Before then, though, Forge FC will host Liga MX side Tigres UANL in a Concacaf Champions Cup tie on Tuesday, February 3.
