Ireland’s national soccer teams will be sporting a new look as they continue their quest for World Cup qualification.
The Football Association of Ireland (FAI) rolled out new home and away kits for both the men’s and women’s national teams on Thursday, January 22. This means the two squads will wear the same kits again after having separate designs last year.
The new home kit is solid green, with two orange stripes along the collarbones. Both the V-neck collar and the sleeve cuffs are white with orange trim. The Ireland national team crest appears in full colour on the left chest, while the logo of manufacturer Castore is in white on the right chest. A shamrock icon is emblazoned on the back collar. Names and numbers are solid white.

The kit will be paired with green shorts and with green socks that have narrow white stripes around the calf.
The away kit, meanwhile, is mostly white, with a one-colour black version of the national team crest on the left chest. A pattern of distorted geometric light green and navy blue shapes covers the front of the shirt, while the sleeves and back are solid white. The shamrock once again appears on the back collar, this time in black.

The away kit will be worn with navy blue shorts and white socks.
The FAI also rolled out new goalkeeper kits in light blue and yellow. Both have black collars and sleeve cuffs along with a tonal ocean pattern on the front.

Retail versions of Ireland kits include the logo of their sponsor, telecommunications company Sky, on the front, but match-worn shirts will not have this logo.
The Irish men’s team still has a chance of qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, to be held in North America. They play the Czech Republic on March 26, and if they win that game, they’ll face the winner of a match between Denmark and North Macedonia for a spot in the tournament.
The women’s team will begin their qualifying campaign for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in March. They’ve been drawn in a group with France, the Netherlands and Poland.
