Here’s a rundown of the new jerseys:

CHICAGO FIRE – Secondary

The Chicago Fire’s new secondary kit for 2023 is the first kit designed specifically for the club’s new crest, which was unveiled in June 2021. It’s mostly white, with light blue and red diamonds and chevrons across the front and sleeves. The back is solid white with red side panels. The crew neck collar has red trim all the way around and navy blue trim on the sides leading into the navy Adidas shoulder stripes. The sleeve cuffs are navy blue with red trim, while the side and back hem stripes are solid navy blue. The club crest and Adidas logo sit in the center of the chest — the first time the Fire has used this orientation.

FC DALLAS – Secondary

FC Dallas is going back to its roots for its new secondary kit. The predominantly white kit features a pattern of light green flames across the front and sleeves — a nod to their old Dallas Burn identity, which they used from MLS’s inaugural season in 1996 to 2004. Another tip of the hat to that identity is the horse head with a flame shooting from its mouth on the back collar. The crew neck collar itself is black with red trim, while the Adidas shoulder stripes are black and the side/hem stripes are red. The FC Dallas crest is rendered in monochrome black, as are the sponsor logos and MLS shield on the left sleeve.

D.C. UNITED – Secondary

D.C. United are jumping on the cherry blossom bandwagon for their new secondary kit. Like baseball’s Washington Nationals and basketball’s Washington Wizards, D.C. United’s new kit features the capital’s famous pink cherry blossoms across the front of a white shirt. The collar has pink trim all the way around and black accents on the sides leading into the black Adidas shoulder stripes. The sleeve cuffs are black with pink trim, and the side and hem striping is black and embossed with the club mantra, “All are Welcome, All are United.” The club crest is rendered in monochrome black along with the Adidas logo and sponsor logos.

SPORTING KANSAS CITY – Primary

Sporting Kansas City aren’t straying far from their traditional hoops for their new primary kit. The front of the kit features broad navy blue horizontal stripes running across a light blue base. The henley collar, Adidas shoulder stripes, sleeve cuffs, side panels, side/hem stripes and sponsor logos are all navy blue. An argyle “SKC” monogram appears on the back collar.

LOS ANGELES FOOTBALL CLUB – Secondary

LAFC are bringing the smoke with their new secondary kit. The base is a pale shade of olive green with a tonal smoke pattern on the front and sleeves. The side panels, Adidas shoulder stripes and collar trim are all a darker shade of olive green. The sponsor logos and side/hem stripes are black, as is the “LA” monogram on the left chest that is isolated from the club crest.

LA GALAXY – Secondary

The LA Galaxy are bringing it home for their new secondary kit, which is inspired by the colors and design of the Los Angeles city flag. REAL SALT LAKE – Secondary

Real Salt Lake are creating a buzz with their new secondary kit. The yellow kit features an embossed pattern on the front and sleeves of hexagons with tapering lines inside, meant to resemble honeycomb and reference Utah’s nickname of the “Beehive State.” Red trim runs around the crew neck collar, which also has blue accents on the sides leading into the Adidas shoulder stripes. The sleeve cuffs are blue with red trim. The side panels and side/hem striping is blue, as are the sponsor logos on the chest and sleeve. A monochrome blue lion’s head logo adorns the back collar.

VANCOUVER WHITECAPS – Primary

The Vancouver Whitecaps are adding a splash of red to their double blue colour scheme on their new primary kits. The mostly white kit retains a broad navy blue stripe across the chest, but adds red stripes within that and light blue horizonal stripes across the front. The chest stripe continues into the side panels. The crew neck collar and sleeve cuffs are white, while the Adidas shoulder stripes are navy blue and the side/hem stripes are navy blue with a light blue pinstripe through the middle. This kit also features a new main sponsor, Canadian telecommunications company Telus. The back of the jersey is white, and names on the back will continue to be navy blue while numbers remain red.
