Los Angeles Rams Unveil New Uniforms

On Wednesday morning, a little less than two months after they revealed a new logo set, the Los Angeles Rams finally unveiled their corresponding uniforms.

“SoFi Stadium is an iconic, transformative stadium that encouraged us to design uniforms as innovative as our new home,” Rams chief operating officer Kevin Demoff said in a press release. “Our new uniforms preserve the storied legacy of the Rams with the horns at the heart of the design, while introducing vibrant colors and groundbreaking materials. We are proud to unveil a modern look for our players to wear as we begin this exciting new era for the Los Angeles Rams.”

The royal blue helmet features a metallic finish and a blue facemask with gold horns that mimic the Rams’ “LA” logo and finally color matches the rest of the uniform — unlike the mismatched throwback set the team wore at home the last few seasons.

The royal blue home uniform features gold horns on the sleeves and a custom number font based on curvature and separation of the horn. The numbers also have a gradient effect, transitioning from gold at the top to white at the bottom.

The Rams’ home uniform — which also features their italicized wordmark on the left chest, the “LA” logo on the back collar and the ram head logo on the inside collar — can be worn with gold or royal blue pants. The gold pants have thick blue and thin white stripes, while the blue pants have the same gradient effect as the numbers.

The bone-colored road uniform — which is “inspired by the color of a ram’s horn and the sands of LA” — goes in a different direction, meanwhile.

The number font remains intact, but there is no gradient effect. The horns on the sleeve, meanwhile, are white with a thin yellow line and have been covered by blue numbers. The team’s new stacked wordmark also appears on the left chest.

The pants are bone-colored with a thin yellow stripe and thick white stripe running down the side, and can apparently be worn with blue or white socks.

Los Angeles’ new uniforms are scheduled to see the field for the first time on Sept. 13, when the Rams host the Cowboys in the preseason opener for the brand-new, state-of-the-art SoFi Stadium.
