With the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Kansas City Chiefs announcing what uniforms they’ll wear in Sunday’s Super Bowl LV last week, I’ve decided to take a look back at Super Bowl uniform matchups of years past.
As I’ve done for a few years now, I based the design below off an old keychain I found in a box in my basement, 110 cartoon-style football players displaying the score of the first 54 Super Bowls (and just a generic “SB LV” score for the yet-to-be-played 55th). The AFL/AFC team is always shown on the left, while the NFL/NFC team is always shown on the right, this placement is regardless of who won the game or who was designated the home team.
