The Cincinnati Bengals weren’t planning to unveil their new uniforms until later this spring, but an eBay user apparently couldn’t wait to share the redesigned jersey with the world.
Multiple listings from user “originaljersey81” include both the home black and orange alternate versions of the Bengals’ new jerseys, which feature tiger stripes on the shoulders that are a modern update of their 1981-96 and 1997-2003 uniforms. There are no television numbers or logos on the sleeves, leaving just a white Nike Swoosh.
Cincinnati will have a small Bengals wordmark on the chest above what appears to be a modified version of their previous number font. The numbers have a single outline rather than the drop shadow that accompanied the last set of numerals.
The jersey includes the signature of late founder and coach Paul Brown on the inside of the back collar, making them the 10th team in the league with words, logos or symbols in that spot, not including the Kansas City Chiefs, who added a phrase to their Super Bowl LV uniforms.
It’s unclear at this time what the pants look like, though the Bengals have confirmed their iconic helmet design will remain in place.
