Colleges have all kinds of officially licensed novelty items, ranging from big foam fingers to logo-shaped cake pans and everything in-between. You can now add food to the list after the University of Arkansas teamed up with Fayetteville-based manufacturer Abuelita Maria to produce a Razorback-shaped tortilla chip.
Will Roth, the senior account executive of Razorback Sports Properties, notes the chips can be found at restaurants across the state, including El Matador Mexican Bar & Grill, roughly five minutes down the street from campus.
It appears the Razorback chips will be available for purchase online soon via Abuelita Maria’s website, though some of their other products – including tortillas and other custom-made chips – are already available.
Here’s to hoping other schools follow suit.
