Serie A giants Juventus are celebrating 10 years of playing at the Allianz Stadium in Turin with their new home jersey for the 2021-22 season.
The adidas kit was unveiled on Tuesday, May 18, and brings a more traditional set of black and white stripes back to Juventus’s jersey after the club experimented with brush strokes last season and a half-and-half jersey the season before that.
Integrated into the black stripes are pentagons with stars inside, which mimic the design of Juve’s Walk of Fame outside the Allianz Stadium. “[I]t pays homage to the iconic players who have made Juventus history, but also to the fans, who have played a fundamental role in making Allianz Stadium the symbol of which it is today,” according to the club’s website.
The collar and sleeve cuffs are white with black piping. The phrase “10 YEARS AT HOME” is printed inside the collar, with the A in “YEARS” replaced by one of the two large roof cable support structures outside the stadium. These structures are decorated with the colours of the Italian flag.
Auto manufacturer Jeep remains the main shirt sponsor. However, the logo for the company’s new 4XE plug-in hybrid technology has been added underneath.
Adidas had produced both black and white shorts and socks to go with the home jersey.
