LEAK! Both 2022 NBA All-Star Game Jerseys

Just a few days after one jersey leaked, we’ve now gotten ourselves a look at the other 2022 NBA All-Star Game uniform.

The first jersey leak showed a grey and blue design, leaked on Wednesday night courtesy of a Tweet from Matthew Moreno of LakersNation.com. Moreno said he spotted the jersey for sale at a local store. The second jersey, a red one, then leaked over this past weekend (unfortunately, we can’t tell for sure who was the source of the leak, so please let us know in the comments if you know so we can credit them appropriately).

SportsLogos.Net can confirm that both jerseys are legit 2022 NBA All-Star Game uniforms.

Behold:

The red jersey is a slightly less exciting version of the dull grey and blues. Neither uniform seems to make any reference to the 2022 NBA All-Star Game host city of Cleveland, the host Cleveland Cavaliers or incorporates any notable reference (aside from a GIANT) patch on the back that this is the league’s 75th anniversary season.

I mean, if there was an opportunity to go all-in on a throwback design, THIS WAS THE YEAR. (See: National Hockey League All-Star Game, 75th Anniversary Season).

As I theorized in the post regarding the original leak, perhaps they avoided reference to the host city or home team after being stuck with Indiana Pacers-themed uniforms last season for a game that had to be relocated to Atlanta at the last minute. It’s possible, and perhaps hard to blame them if that was indeed the case… but… throwbacks could’ve been worn anywhere, no?

Carrying on with the original leak, look at the back of the jersey…

White numbers on a light grey jersey? This will be fun… and yup, there’s that NBA 75 patch I warned you about.

The 2022 NBA All-Star Game will be held in Cleveland, Ohio, on February 20, 2022. It’s the first time the Cavs have hosted the game since the 1996-97 season.
