Inter Milan Looks to Stand Out in New Third Kit — Plus Other Recent Releases From Around Europe

Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan hope to stand out from the crowd in their new third kit for 2022-23, made by Nike.

The club launched the new kit earlier this week. It features a solid bright yellow base on Nike’s new Dri-Fit ADV template, with black and light blue trim on the crew neck collar and sleeve cuffs. The sponsor logos and club crest are monochromatic black. As with their home and away kits, the coccarda appears above the Nike logo on the right chest, celebrating Inter’s Coppa Italia win in 2021-22.

“The launch of the 2022/2023 Third Kit puts forward the yellow of the Club’s new visual identity as sport and fashion collide, linking the Club’s past with the present: the Nerazzurri DNA, their historic values, their insoluble bond with the city of Milan,” according to Inter Milan’s website.

For the launch of the kit, Inter Milan collaborated with One Block Down, the biggest streetwear store in Milan and “one of the key institutions for modern street culture.” The result was a series of photos highlighting the kit, “disruptive for the vibrancy of its yellow that conquers iconic places in the city of Milan, mixing sportswear and art to celebrate the legacy and bond between Inter and its city.”

AS MONACO – Fourth Kit

The connections between streetwear brands and soccer clubs continue with AS Monaco’s collaboration with French brand Drôle de Monsieur for a fourth kit for 2022-23. Launched on Thursday, October 20, the kit is described as “a daring mix of the ’70s and ’90s” and “an Ode to the French Riviera, of which Monaco is the jewel.”

The base of the shirt, made by Kappa, is beige, with a tonal diamond pattern. Larger diamonds appear near the hem in brown, beige and light shades of blue. Light blue trim also appears on the sleeve cuffs. The outside crew neck collar is solid beige while the inside is light blue with AS Monaco’s motto — “RISE. RISK. REPEAT.” — printed in brown. Sponsor logos and the club crest are monochromatic brown.
