Northern Super League Signs Deal With Hummel to Supply Kits For All 6 Teams

Canada’s new professional women’s soccer league has reached a deal with a Danish sportswear company to provide kits league-wide for their inaugural season in 2025.

The Northern Super League announced on Wednesday, December 18, that it had signed a multi-year partnership with Denmark-based manufacturer Hummel to supply custom-designed kits and training gear for all six NSL teams when they take the pitch in April 2025.

“As our exclusive on-pitch apparel provider, Hummel’s unique and innovative Northern Super League kits will be instrumental in our efforts to rally Canadians and grow their passion for professional women’s soccer from coast to coast,” NSL president Christina Litz said in a statement provided to the Canadian Press.

Hummel supplies kits for the Danish national teams, as well as top-flight clubs in Europe including Werder Bremen (Bundesliga), UD Las Palmas, Real Betis, RC Celta de Vigo (La Liga) and AS Saint-Étienne (Ligue 1). They also worked with USL Championship side Portland Hearts of Pine on their recently unveiled home kit for 2025.

The partnership with the NSL is the first time Hummel has sponsored an entire professional women’s league.

“It’s an honour to be a part of this exciting new chapter for Canadian soccer, and we look forward to contributing to the league’s success and inspiring a new generation of athletes,” Hummel CEO Lars Stentebjerg said.
