New Uniforms for Baylor Bears Women’s Basketball Team

The Baylor Bears women’s basketball program joined UConn in unveiling new uniforms ahead of its first-round NCAA Tournament matchup with 13th-seeded Grand Canyon, which tips off at 3:30 p.m. ET on Friday.

The Bears’ nickname is now prominently displayed across the chest of the home white version rather than the school name, while the green road set continues to feature a gold “Baylor” wordmark.

Both versions include contrasting collars and armholes, as well as side panels with a claw-like design that transitions from green to gold to green on the white uniforms and gold to green to gold on the green set.

This look, complete with the interlocking “BU” Baylor Bears logo on the bottom of the shorts, replaces an asymmetrical design that wrapped around the bottom of the shorts and went up the left side of the uniform.

As the No. 4 seed in the Spokane 1 Regional, the Bears will wear the white home set until at least the Sweet 16, when they could face third-seeded LSU. Assuming both teams advance that far, the green road set would début.
