With the UEFA Champions League getting underway this week, high-profile soccer clubs across Europe have been busy launching new looks — mostly third kits — to make sure they don’t clash with their continental opponents.
Here are some of the new jerseys that have been released since we last checked in across the pond:
LIVERPOOL FC – Third
Defending English Premier League champions Liverpool FC launched their new third kit last week and wore it when they visited Burnley FC on Sunday, September 14. The sea green base of the jersey is “inspired by classic LFC and adidas designs from the 1990s and early 2000s” and set off with white accents, including the adidas shoulder stripes and a retro trefoil adidas logo on the chest. Two black pinstripes run through the collar and the sleeve cuffs. A retro club crest on the chest features the liver bird inside a shield, with the club name on a banner underneath.

🇩🇪 BAYERN MUNICH – Oktoberfest
German Bundesliga powerhouses Bayern Munich celebrate their club’s 125th anniversary and the 190th anniversary of Oktoberfest with their annual Oktoberfest jersey, which they’ll wear on September 26 against Werder Bremen. The base of the kit, made by adidas, is off-white with green accents, including the shoulder stripes, trefoil logo and sponsor logos. The kit features Bayern’s special Oktoberfest crest, and the green sleeve cuffs have a pattern of green waves and red dots woven into them.

🇩🇪 BORUSSIA DORTMUND – Away
Fellow Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund crank up the “loudest colours in football” with their 2025-26 away kit, made by PUMA. The base of the kit is a light grey, though it does gradate to black in spots across the front. Also on the front are jagged neon yellow panels, including one that highlights the club crest. The lower back and shoulders are also neon yellow, with the side and underarm panels are black.

🇮🇹 INTER MILAN – Third
The 2025-26 third kit for perennial Serie A contenders Inter Milan is the latest Nike-made kit for high-profile European clubs that emulates the company’s Total 90 template from the early 2000s. The base of the shirt is “Thunder Grey”, which is offset by “Safety Orange” accents, including the collar, the tapering panel on the left arm and the piping on the front, back and sleeve cuffs. The Inter crest is also rendered in orange and sits in the middle of the chest.

🇮🇹 JUVENTUS FC – Third
Fellow Serie A giants Juventus FC draw inspiration from the vineyards of Piedmont for their 2025-26 third kits, made by Adidas. The black jersey has a subtle pattern inspired by grape plants embossed all over, and is accented by burgundy and green trim in the off-white collar and sleeve cuffs. Sponsor logos are also off-white, along with the retro adidas logo and Juventus’ zebra crest.

🇮🇹 SSC NAPOLI – Champions League
Defending Serie A champions SSC Napoli have unveiled special kits, made by EA7, for their 2025-26 UEFA Champions League campaign. The home kit is identical to their regular 2025-26 home shirt, only without a sponsor logo on the back. The away kit is a white version of the home kit, which is different from the sand-coloured away kit they’re using in domestic competition. And the third kit is dark blue, a switch from the dark brown domestic third kit that’s a nod to Naples’ coffee culture.

🇮🇹 GENOA CFC – Third
While they didn’t enlist help from the world of pro wrestling this year, Serie A side Genoa CFC is still hyped for their 2025-26 third kit, made by Kappa. To celebrate the club’s 132nd anniversary, the solid blue kit has a retro lace-up collar and silver accents. It will be worn with red shorts to mirror the lyrics of Genoa’s official anthem, “Un Cantico per il Mio Grifone,” which was chosen through a competition in 1972: “Coi pantaloni rossi e la maglietta blu …” (“With red trousers and a blue shirt …”).

🇫🇷 OLYMPIQUE LYONNAIS – Third
Meanwhile in France, Ligue 1 side Olympique Lyonnais draws inspiration from skateboarding culture for its 2025-26 third kit, made by adidas. According to the club, Lyon is considered “one of the world’s skateboarding capitals,” with riders drawn in particular by the “unique architecture and recognizable steps” of Place Louis Pradel. OL’s third kit was designed in collaboration with local skate shop Wallstreet, with the light grey colour and pattern evoking the steps and paving stones of the plaza. Darker grey piping runs down the sides of the jersey, while other accents — including the shoulder stripes, polo collar trim and club crest — are bright red.

🇫🇷 LILLE OSC – Fourth
Fellow Ligue 1 side Lille OSC celebrate the architecture of their home city with their 2025-26 fourth kit, made by New Balance. The purple base of the kit — a combination of the club’s traditional blue and red colours — has a representation of Lille’s skyline in four wide stripes that run diagonally across the front of the shirt in different shades of purple and pink. In each stripe, the skyline looks as it would reflected in the Quai du Wault in Lille-Vieux. The back of the kit has a solid purple panel for names and numbers.
