Sacramento Kings Reveal New Uniforms: Victory Beam-Inspired “City Edition”

The Sacramento Kings celebrated 916 Day on Tuesday by revealing their 2025-26 City Edition uniforms, which recolor their 2022-23 design that was inspired by the architectural elements of the Golden 1 Center.

But rather than focus on the building itself, this season’s uniform shines a light on the beam that is illuminated following every Kings victory with a deep purple base and bright violet accents, which have never been used in franchise history.

A white “Sacramento” wordmark is displayed across the chest, while the bright violet side panels are a nod to the Golden 1 Center’s jagged facade, with “Sacramento Proud” repeated down the white center center stripe.

Just like the original gray design, the shorts feature a continuation of the side panels and a two-color version of the Kings’ primary logo on both legs, as well as trim that matched the collar and arm holes.

“Sacramento is a community unlike any other, and 916 Day is the perfect moment to celebrate the passion and pride of our fans,” team president John Rinehart said. “This season, we’re excited to unveil a new City Edition uniform that honors the beam – our symbol of unity and resilience.”

The Kings will debut their new City Edition uniforms and a complementary, unreleased court design against the Atlanta Hawks on Nov. 12. They’ll wear the uniforms 10 times at home and nine times on the road this season, though additional dates are unknown.
