The Indy Fuel are ready to bring the heat to the new ECHL season with fiery new jerseys introduced on Saturday, September 21.
Ahead of an open house over the weekend, the Fishers, Indiana-based team introduced new light and dark jerseys — both dubbed “Defender” jerseys on the Fuel’s online store — that feature a new logo on the front. These come just one season after the Fuel introduced new logos and new uniforms coinciding with their move from the Indiana Farmers Coliseum in Indianapolis to the Fishers Event Center.
The light jersey features a sand base with a new fire-breathing dragon logo on the front that’s based on the team’s mascot, Nitro. The top half of each sleeve is black, while the bottom half is sand with gold and red stripes. Red and gold stripes also run around the waist, under which the jersey is black to the hem. The collar is black with sand trim and the Fuel’s secondary F logo on the front insert.

The dark jersey swaps the sand and black on the body, sleeves and waist while keeping the collar and front crest the same. The black base is a switch from the predominantly red jerseys the Fuel wore in 2024-25. Both jerseys have the logo of Indy’s AHL affiliate, the Rockford IceHogs, on the right shoulder and the logo of their NHL parent club, the Chicago Blackhawks, on the left.

ECHL teams typically wear white jerseys at home and dark jerseys on the road until the All-Star Game break in January, at which point they switch to dark at home at white on the road. During the playoffs, they switch back to white at home and dark on the road.
While the Nitro logo appears on the front of both jerseys, the Fuel are still using the primary logo introduced last year as their profile picture on their social media channels and featuring it prominently on their website.
The Fuel kick off their 12th season in the ECHL on Friday, October 17, when they host their in-state rivals, the Fort Wayne Komets
