The Phoenix Suns recently unveiled new Statement Edition uniforms that blend their Association and Icon Edition designs with a reimagined version of the gradient pattern that was used in their 2020-22 “The Valley” City Edition uniforms, which are set to return this season, as well.
The black uniforms prominently display a white “Phoenix” wordmark outlined in purple across the chest. This wordmark is pulled from the left leg of their Association and Icon Edition uniforms that were introduced ahead of the 2023-24 season.
The purple and orange trim on the collar and arm holes turn into a truncated gradient pattern as it runs down the sides of the jerseys, while the shorts feature the Suns’ iconic sunburst logo, which shifts from purple on the right leg to orange on the left.

The uniform is complete an advertisement for PayPal on the left shoulder, opposite of the Jordan Brand “Jumpman” logo, as well as the full-color version of the sunburst logo on the waistband of the shorts, which have matching trim at the bottom.
The Suns will wear the uniforms nine times at home this season, starting Oct. 31 against the Utah Jazz in the Emirates NBA Cup, suggesting that teams will wear their Statement designs in the tournament for the second year in a row after wearing their City Edition designs in 2023.
The new uniform replace black Statement Edition uniforms the Suns have worn since the 2022-23 season. That uniform had a “PHX” wordmark across the chest, as well as the exact gradient pattern from “The Valley” uniforms on the trim and numbers.
