The SPHL’s Macon Mayhem are seeing red with their new third jerseys.
The team based in Macon, Georgia, unveiled the new sweaters on their social media channels on Wednesday, October 22, and will wear them on the ice for the first time in their home opener against the Huntsville Havoc on Saturday, October 25.
The new jersey marks a return to red for the Mayhem, who last wore the colour in their primary uniform set in 2023-24, prior to the unveiling of their new logos in August 2024. It puts Macon front and centre with the city name across the front in a white script font with light blue and black outlines. The team’s Viking head secondary logo sits underneath and to the right.

The shoulders are light blue with black and white outlines, and a secondary logo of the initials “MM” inside a roundel appears on each side. The shoulders are mimicked in the sleeve and waist stripes, where a broad light blue stripe is flanked by narrower black and white stripes. Names on the back are white, while numbers on the sleeves and back are white with black outlines and set in the Mayhem’s custom typeface.

The new red sweater replaces the Mayhem’s Atlanta Thrashers-inspired asymmetrical light blue alternate jersey from 2024-25. The Mayhem’s primary set includes a white road jersey and a black home jersey, both of which have black shoulder yokes with a light blue outline, three sleeve stripes, contrasting forearms and vertical striping up the sides.

The puck drops on the Mayhem’s 2025-26 SPHL home opener at 6:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, October 25, at the Macon Coliseum.
