Jersey manufacturer CHARLY is tapping into Mexican national pride with the recent release of new third kits for the three clubs it outfits in Liga MX.
The new jerseys for Atlas FC, Club León and Santos Laguna were released on Wednesday, November 12, and will be worn in the second half (torneo clausura) of the 2025-26 Liga MX season. “The launch, while designed to represent separate clubs, unifies all fans of Mexican football under the colors of the Mexican flag, where green (Leon) represents hope, white (Santos) represents unity, and red (Atlas) represents the Mexican national heroes who fought for independence,” reads a press release from CHARLY.

“These three distinct yet interwoven kits are built with legacy and meant to be worn with pride. As we draw closer to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, CHARLY will continue to proudly represent our shared Mexican heritage in every collection that we release.”
— Rodriguez Vallejo, Sports Marketing Director, CHARLY
Here’s a closer look at each kit, along with what CHARLY had to say about them:
CLUB LEÓN

Split panels of rich green dominate Leon’s third kit, and the shirt features a distinct white collar. The kit’s construction is a nod to the golden age of football, and every detail celebrates Mexico’s football tradition. The two shades of green symbolize the club’s evolution over time and its use of numerous shades of green to represent La Fiera.
SANTOS LAGUNA

Santos Laguna’s third kit is inspired by the purity of the Mexican flag’s white. It is sublimated with symbolic graphic elements of Mexican culture, including native flowers, desert cacti, ancient warriors, and the Quetzalcoatl, the legendary feathered serpent of Mesoamerican Mythology. The delicate sublimations honor the spirit of a nation that stands proud and unbreakable.
ATLAS FC

The bold red kit that Atlas players wear was designed to embody the intensity of Mexico’s flag and the fierce pride of its people. The third kit draws inspiration from the legendary 1994 Mexican National Team kit, taking graphic design elements from that kit and infusing it with modern attitude. The shirt’s signature two-block pattern pays homage to the club’s tenets of unity and strength.
This is at least the fifth consecutive season that CHARLY has released clausura third kits for the Liga MX teams it outfits. Other kit themes have included:
- Lucha Libre (2021)
- Traditional Mexican art (2022)
- Call of Duty (2023)
- Urban art (2024)
The 2025-26 Liga MX torneo clausura will begin in January 2026.
